Pomanders

Pomanders have a varied history.

Victorian times believed giving  a clove orange pomander expressed warmth of feeling.

Medieval times they were used as a personal perfume or to make the air around them smell better or protection from infection around them.

Orange Pomanders were believed to be protection against negative energies, jealousy, envy and the evil eye.

They are created by adding cloves into oranges in a pattern. They can be hung or just placed on a surface.
